What e-chawadi is
The chawadi is the village notice board where revenue announcements were traditionally pasted. Aapli Chawadi (“our chawadi”) moved it online: every proposed change to a land record is published as a public notice before a Circle Officer certifies it onto the 7/12 utara or property card. Searches for e chawadi, e chawadi 7/12 and aapli chawadi all point to this same board.
What appears on the board
| Notice type | What it means |
|---|---|
| सातबारा फेरफार | Pending ferfar (mutation) on rural land |
| मालमत्ता पत्रक फेरफार | Mutations on the urban property card |
| मोजणी नोटीस | Upcoming land measurement on a nearby plot |
| पीक पाहणी | Crop-inspection entries |
Each row shows the ferfar number, the mutation type — वारस (heirship), खरेदी (sale), बोजा (loan charge), हक्कसोड (release), वाटप (partition) — the date, and the last date for objections.
Check it (free, no login)
- Open bhulekh.mahabhumi.gov.in and click आपली चावडी / Aapli Chawadi — the board opens from digitalsatbara.mahabhumi.gov.in/aaplichawdi
- Select your district, taluka and village
- Scan the list for your survey/gat number and read the notice row
- Note the ferfar number and the objection deadline
Ignore guides pointing to echawadicitizen.mahabhumi.gov.in — that host now serves the
e-Shetsara portal, not the notice board. And there is no citizen e-chawadi login: the login
screens belong to the Talathis’ internal system.
Saw your plot in a notice?
- You expected it (your own purchase, varas nond, loan): let the 15-day window pass, then confirm the entry certified — our ferfar status guide shows how to track प्रलंबित → मंजूर.
- You did NOT expect it: file a harkat (objection) with the Talathi within 15 days. The full procedure — what to write, the disputed-cases register, the Circle Officer hearing — is in our Aapli Chawadi deep guide.
E-chawadi vs the record itself
The board shows what is about to change; the documents show what has changed. After a notice certifies, pull the fresh 7/12 or signed ferfar (₹15 on digitalsatbara.mahabhumi.gov.in) to confirm the record.
Let BhuMe watch the board for you
Notices wait for no one — 15 days of silence and a wrong entry moves toward your 7/12. BhuMe monitors your survey number, alerts you on WhatsApp when a notice or mutation appears against it, and fetches the digitally signed 7/12, 8A and ferfar with Marathi names handled.
